Biography
Born in Warsaw the beguiling capital of Poland, Magdalena Diab had started traveling from an early age between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, where she completed her GCE & ACS degrees. She moved to Beirut, where she continued her studies and graduated with two majors in Business Management & Interior Design from the Beirut University College.
During her studies and after her graduation, Magdalena worked part-time with a French interior designer in Beirut. She then got promoted to manage an interior design department in a Lebanese-Kuwaiti company. This opened more opportunities for her to travel to a wide array of countries to pursue the best in materials and art for her projects.
Being talented in fashion and costume jewelry, this opened for Magdalena the opportunity to create her own brand “Madeleine Jenfo”, which was located in Lebanon. The brand offered exclusive designs in haute couture, ready to wear, shoes and accessories.
While expanding her own interior design firm under the name MDesign. Magdalena started producing her own line of exclusive furniture and accessory design in Europe and the Middle East. Which became a growing demand among her clients. Under MDesign she expanded her services to cover corporate design, restaurants, clubs, lounges, bars & yachts (from 42m). Along with residential and commercial projects, offering turnkey services from designing electro-mechanical plans till accessories and finishing touches. She worked with clients from different nationalities and cultures including France, Italy, UK, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco, etc.
This is how Magdalena was able to enter the exclusive showrooms in the Middle East and Europe with her jewelry designs. In addition to all of the above, she was able to prove herself as a fashion project consultant in Europe and to handle interior design projects with execution in both Europe and the Middle East.
In 2016 Magdalena worked on a residential project in St Tropez South of France, where she opened her pop up summer gallery at 4 Rue des Remparts. Selling her unique furniture and accessories designs, and unique jewellery pieces of her new line “matt…” . The line is modern and easy to wear, offering versatile designs of rings, chains, necklaces and bracelets using a variety of gold, precious and semi-precious stones.
Her gallery offered too, some Art-Deco and modern pieces for distinguished international artists.
